Relentlessly Curious | Always Up for a Challenge
I am currently based on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation, working at the Canada School of Public Service, where I craft personalized learning experiences for public servants.
With a background in visual arts and graphic design, I bring a strong design foundation to my work while staying grounded in research, strategy, and practical outcomes. My approach is shaped by years of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on digital products that aim to be clear, inclusive, and genuinely useful.
As a queer designer, I’m especially attuned to the cultural layers that exist within organizations. I care deeply about how people show up to the work: who feels heard, who gets to make decisions, and how inclusive our processes really are. I believe good design isn’t just about what we build, but how we build it—and who gets to be part of that conversation.
Outside of work, I’m an explorer at heart. I’m drawn to anything that invites curiosity and creativity: cooking ambitious new recipes, trying my hand at different crafts, or getting lost on a forest trail. These moments of experimentation and wonder often inspire my work and keep me connected to what matters: people, stories, and the world around us.
Design with Intention in the Age of AI
I use AI as a tool to speed up my design work, whether analyzing data, generating content, or testing interface ideas. But I treat it as a starting point, not a final answer. AI can flatten nuance or reinforce bias, so I always review, question, and refine. Good design is driven by curiosity, and AI only adds value when it supports that, not shortcuts it.
